The ride is a night and day improvement over what it had been. I recently purchased the 2008 GMC 3500HD dually and while I know a one-ton won’t ever ride like a luxury vehicle, I still thought the ride was rough. It turns out that the original factory shocks were still installed with 123k miles on them. There was little to no pressure left in the shocks. Installed the Bilstein 5100s and took it for a test drive and immediately could feel the difference. The only issue I have is that they were shipped from two different locations and received the rear shocks on a Friday, with expected delivery of Sunday for the fronts. That got pushed to Monday, and then Tuesday. I run Bilsteins in multiple vehicles and they are always a quality product.
