The Bilstein 5100s (front and rear) replaced KYBs from Les Schwab on my 2001 F-350, 7.3L. The KYBs did their job for about 15K miles, then, not so much. The Bils have a better driving feel out of the box than the KYBs did and hopefully will last a lot longer. I paid less for the 4 Bils than I did the KYBs installed by Schwab.

These are perfect on my 99 350 7.3. People, including myself, often find that 5100s ride stiff but with how heavy the 7.3 is, they ride really nice. I did have an issue fitting the front shocks into the lower mounting tabs, I think the tabs had been bent in from the factory installation, so the sleeves inside the bushing on the 5100s were too wide to fit and I had to grind them down ~1/16th of an inch on each side.
