Perfect balance of value and quality for my needs. The 1.5” lift front along with very slight height sensor adjustment to existing OEM rear airbags was perfect for our 2005 GX.470 with 18” GX460 wheels and highway tires. Ultimately, I was trying to replace existing “fake” OEM shocks, yet keep rear airbags (they were newer and working good) and keep a nice ride for a daily driver, while giving it an overall “leveling”. Looks great and drives great too, especially compared to the worn existing. For me, it’s the right amount of firm….not too much, definitely not too cushy.

Best kit for the daily driver, once in a while weekend funhaver without burning a hole in your wallet. Rides firm on road, and gives cushion off road.

I installed this kit on our 2008 GX470 with 155K miles. I had recently replaced the rear air bags and wanted to keep the height control. The vehicle is equipped with KDSS and it had the ‘KDSS lean’ with the right side +1/2″-3/4″. No shock leakage was apparent but you could tell it was time. The rear shocks went on easily. For the front I watched several videos and used the method of disconnecting the upper control arm at the ball joint and disconnecting the KDSS sway bar at the lower control arm (and also at the frame on the side I was working on (also loosened the sway bar bolts on the opposite side frame). It took some creative bar clamp and jack use to pull everything back together to get the sway bar reattached but in the end the stance looks great (+2″ on front) and the ride is excellent. A bonus is that the ‘lean’ somehow was corrected as well. Highly recommend this kit.
