Front kit(47-311015):

Bilstein B8 6112 leveling kits are designed to provide more ground clearance, allow for larger tires, and increase wheel travel. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-2.75 inches of front lift (depending on application). These kits consist of (2) 60mm shock absorbers combined with (2) custom matched cold wound coil springs and (2) billet aluminum spring seats. The large 60mm digressive piston allows for increased damping control for optimal on-road and off-road capabilities. Rear Shocks (24-187374):

Bilstein B8 5100 shock absorbers are designed as a direct fit solution for lifted trucks and SUV’s. These shock absorbers feature a monotube design which provides consistent fade free performance. B8 5100 shock absorbers utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions. All B8 5100 shock absorbers are tuned for each specific application to assure optimal performance is achieved. B8 5100 shock absorbers offer a significant improvement in ride quality, handling, and comfort.

    These do their job. You can level your truck and also get a smooth ride with increases in handling during cornering and over rough terrain. I love mine.

    Slightly disappointed. I was under the impression that the rear shocks would lift the rear slightly but they are just longer in case you decided to lift the rear with different springs, which I did purchase. Also, the installation guide for the front shocks tells you how to set them up for the lift you want. I set mine for 2 inches for a 5.7 liter crew cab and when all was said and done this netted me a little under 1.5 inches of lift. I can take them back out and adjust them but really didn’t want to have to do that.

    Ride quality, however, is awesome! Noticeably better than stock, which was pretty good to start with. I don’t seem to be getting as much road noise in the cab either.

    All in all I’m happy with this kit.

    Put on a 2011 ram 1500. Very happy with them. Great ride on the highway and mountain roads. I put them on the 6th slot. I replaced control arms at the same time and did get a little over 2″ of lift in the front
