I have had these 4600 shocks on my stock 2018 ram 1500 bighorn for a few days now and I’m super impressed. Rides better than it did new. Super plush ride. I was told the 5100’s would be too stiff so these came highly recommend and boy they were right!!

Great transformation of this ’13 Ram 1500’s suspension, as expected. Was a battle to install due to rust and ridiculous engineering (Ram’s top shock mounts for the rear – had to cut a 70 year old 13/16″ box end wrench in 1 quarter-size to fit up in there and hold the nut from spinning! You’d think the factory would weld a difficult-to-access nut like that? Of course not … in the 21st Century), but was well worth the effort. Bilsteinlifts had the best price on the net, too. A Win-Win!

I recently installed 4600’s on my 2017 ram 1500, crew cab bighorn with only 10k miles. I love the truck but felt the truck vibrated too much on bumpy roads. These stiffer shocks made it lots better in my opinion. Hit the bump and it’s over, not so many little recoil vibrations. Truck just feels a lot more sturdier. Firmed it up just enough, but definitely on like a 3/4 feel. I would compare it to riding more like the Rebel versions. I paid to get them installed, the mechanic said the fronts were a little work though.

2016- Ram 1500 4×4. Bought these shocks and found the ride is excellent. Easy to install.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bilstein shocks. I recently bought a 2018 Ram 1500 and to no surprise the O.E. shocks were blown. Installed the 4600’s on all four corners and it’s been a night and day difference. The weight transfer when breaking and going through corners has significantly improved, as well as rebound in the front end. The only annoying part of this hold installed was holding a 13/16 crows foot on the upper nut for the rear shocks. Other than that it was a cake walk. Aligned the front end and couldn’t be more pleased.

Will these Bilstein 4600 fit a stock 2016 ram 1500 2wd longhorn? It has no air suspension.
