  • 4130 chromoly tubular upper control arms are 100% bolt on and hand crafted in the U.S.A.
  • UCAs are designed with added caster to aid in retaining factory alignment specs when aftermarket lift kits are installed. This reduces the darting or wandering in the vehicle’s steering when 2-3″ lift kits are installed.
  • CNC machined tapered spindle adapters convert the factory ball joint to a 1″ uniball for added component strength & maximum wheel travel.
  • Includes urethane droop stop to prevent metal on metal contact between the arm and coil bucket on droop.
  • TOTAL CHAOS includes 1″ I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniball’s also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
  • Custom profile upper and lower hi-misalignment spacers maximize droop wheel travel and are machined from heat treated 17-4 stainless steel.
  • Upper control arms combined with extended length coil over shocks will allow for up to 1 3/4″ of additional wheel travel.
  • Urethane bushings reduce bushing deflection compared to stock rubber bushings.
  • Control arm pivots include zerk fittings to grease the urethane bushings & inner sleeves without disassembly.
  • 2 stage powder coat process includes a durable clear coat to provide a long lasting finish.
  • Complete grade 8 hardware kit is included.
  • Designed to work with aftermarket kits that retain factory control arms.

This is a great upper control arm set. There are only a few issues. It doesn’t exactly fit. Minor modification has to be made to the bushing and metal hinge bolt that holds the unit to the body of the truck to make it fit. Oh sure, I used a rubber mallet to force mine in, but then I pulled them out and used a sharp knife to shave 1/8 inch off of each bushing and a grinder for the hinge bolt tube. This had to be done so that it would take grease. If you don’t do this the bushings are pushed so tight that no grease will enter. Next the rubber bucket bumper broke in half leaving only a bolt flopping around. It doesn’t hit the shock bucket full on. It’s too much stress. This part lasted about a week. Next the edge of the shock bucket ended up scraping a small amount of paint off of the metal hoop holding the Uni ball. No big deal though. I plan to grind off a small piece of the bucket to clear the moment of the upper control arm. Next the Uni ball is really stiff at first. Grease it from the top. Mine came with dust caps for the top of the Uni ball. I applied the dust cap after applying the grease and after a few thousand miles you’ll be happier than a car full of clowns. The good news is, this is a strong piece of equipment. The Uni ball works great, and this is a great low cost solution to flimsy OEM parts. They have a greater range of movement allowing you to apply a suspension lift kit. The price is great and they look good from outside of the truck. Highly visible. Mine get attention all the time… Especially from my mechanic.
