Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUV’s with a front OE coilover style suspension. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-2.75 inches of front lift (depending on application). The monotube shock absorbers feature a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting. Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers provide increased wheel travel and improved handling. Utilizing a B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is the easiest way to level out your vehicle.

Modifying/lifting the suspension to your vehicle may raise its center of gravity and may make it more susceptible to loss of control and/or rollover, which may result in death or serious injury. We strongly recommend that you offset the loss of rollover resistance as much as possible by increasing tire track width, and that you equip the vehicle with a functional roll bar and cage system.

Wear seat belts and shoulder harnesses at all times, and avoid situations where a side rollover may occur.

    I love these, especially the adjustable lift height. These saved me from getting new springs and other stuff to lift the front, and allows the user to select the height they want depending on the application. Quality built, I’m excited to see how they handle!

    Worked great either old man emu 883 coils. Rides much better than stock suspension on my 1997 4runner

    Installed these 5100’s on my 2015. Set front at 2” and perfectly level. Alignment checked and was still in line. Ride was improved and handling is not affected. Me and a friend installed both in under 2 hours. You have to have air hammer to take apart. Much easier. I would highly recommend

    An awesome shock, 4 stars because for the cost they should come with upper bushings. Seems maybe a bit under valved for my 3rd gen 4runner. These are temp untill I can get good coilovers.

    perfect fit for the 3rd gen 2wd gave me more lift them i thought and made the car lighter on the wheels so i had to get use to that as well. coming from autozone shocks to these you dont feel the road as much as before it has a nice firm ride…not to stiff but no bounce at all. make sure you lift the rear because you will have the preruner stance..i hate it. u can follow my build on insta @redlands_runner

    Overall a great option for a small lift and an upgrade to oem suspension. Pros are the adjustability to set your ride height and the quality for the price. Cons are the kit does include the rubber grommets that go on the upper part of the struts. Easy install and love the look.
