Excellent. I have a 4×4 FJ with about 100 lbs constant static load in the back. It lifted it about 1”.

I just put these on my FJ today 4wd. They do put the rear up about a noticeable inch from stock. My 2008 with 106K the rear springs were in good condition. These Bilstein’s are basically the same as stock in diameter and about the same spring rate as stock. I was only looking for an inch or so so I am happy with them. I only gave them 4 stars because I just put them on today but I think they should be good for towing or additional weight in the back.

B12 are installed on FJ 2012 a week ago. Very satisfied – it works perfectly. Levelling with front 2,5′ lift kit with B6112 shocks – set up to 2′, rear B5160 shocks with the B12 springs – set up to 1′. Tires – 285/70R17 AT. Caster – positive 2.3 . Off-roading test – nearest forest with 35-40cm snow. Highway ride is more stable and smooth. I like Bilstein products! – always predictable, always top quality.

Looks good, and drives great combined with Bilstein 5100s all around.
I didn’t want a huge lift with huge off-road tires, just some that looks clean.

Just put these in my 2012 4-wheel drive FJ, they do put the rear up almost an inch. They do seem to be side specific so you check before install. Spring rate seems to be comparable to stock nice ride.
