Brake Proportioning Valve Bracket Kit
Description
Brake Proportioning Valve Bracket Kit
When you lift a 1995-2004 Tacoma or 2000-2006 Tundra, the Brake Proportioning Valve no longer senses loads properly and can cause a potentially dangerous braking situation. This kit relocates the Brake Proportioning Valve to a higher position so it can properly sense the axle load and send the right amount of pressure to your brakes. This kit can be used for rear lifts of 2” or 2-1/2” over stock.

Ferdinand –
The bracket should have been designed with an offset bend instead of being straight. One of the supplied fastener that relocates the brake proportioning lever is resting on a factory clamp that holds down a rigid brake line mounted on the differential housing. Eventually the clamp will wear out loosing the rigid brake line or the bracket holding the brake proportioning lever will crack due to vibration.
