Designed for the serious off-road adventure seeker, the all new BILSTEIN 6112 Series Kit is the ultimate suspension solution. The 6112 Series optimizes off-road and on-road capabilities with a 60mm digressive piston for increased damping control. This kit features specially designed cold wound springs and an adjustable spring seat which allows for vehicle leveling, larger tires, and increased ground clearance. The kit comes with (2) 60mm shocks (2) springs and (2) billet spring seats. Before I start, let me just say, the 6112’s are massive! I had to get a new spring compressor to set the coil on the shock, since the ones I had didn’t fit around the coil while the shock was in place. I have these set at the fourth setting and have received a little over 2.5” of lift. This way I did not need to get new upper control arms in order to get my alignment into spec. Since I’ve installed these, I have driven about 800 miles on the highway and went through a mud pit I have in my back yard. The ride is noticeably stiffer than it was before, but it is considerably smoother. So far I am happy with how the 6112’s are preforming paired with Toytec AAL and their Boss shocks. My 2007 Tacoma drives like a new truck. I could not be happier that I finally pulled the trigger and lifted my truck.
