Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUV’s with a front coilover style suspension. The monotube shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the shock body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0″-2.5″ of front end lift, depending on application. The Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber provides increased wheel travel and improved handling and feature a zinc-plated steel body for resistance to harsh off-road elements.

    I purchased the Bilstein 5100’s for the front and rear of my 2017 Tacoma. I used the front shocks adjustability to raise the front 1″ and level out my tacoma. I paired the rear 5100’s with the Firestone Ride Rite kit (also purchased here on bilsteinlifts) and it rides like a dream. It’s not stiff, but no more body roll, no more nose dives under braking. Best money I’ve spent of my truck thus far. Highly recommended.

    This is the best possible way to level your truck and be able to easily fit up to a 33″ tire, The ride is better than stock and you actually have some increased off-road performance as opposed to spacer lifts. The front end no longer dips when breaking making for a much better driving experience. An alignment will be needed if you go to the top notches. On the top notch the front end was lifted about 2.5 inches as opposed to 2 which is advertised.

    ordered the shocks on a friday and recieved them the following saturday (8 days later). very happy with the fast shipping.

    However, one of my front shocks is missing the circlip that adjusts the ride height… so now i cannot do anything until it is replaced.. currently waiting for customer service to respond to my emails…

    I had a Leveling kit installed and I did not like this it all, the suspension was not doing its job, I installed the bilsteins shocks and my truck handeling is superior even better than factory standards and enough room to fit my 285’s tires

    This is a must have for your tacoma. It took myself a a friend about 4 hours to put these in. Neither of us are very mechanically inclined, they can be tricky to put in. Overall they lifted the front of my truck about 1.5 inches on the lowest circlip. It rides amazing compared to stock suspension. Highly recommend this lift, just take your time and make sure it is done right or get it professionally installed.

    Great design for a suspension lift. Tacoma rides just as smooth as the factory struts did and sits level with the rear now. Way better than a spacer style leveling kit.

    awesome ride. i set my clip at 1.1 (middle clip) and took off my 1 inch spacer in the front, and lost about 0.5in ride height! so plan ahead!
