This shock is .75″ longer than the stock shock. With a 1.5″ lift block you will still have to short of a shock to get any drop. I do not know how it could ever work with a 2.25″ lift block or spring. Do not spend your time or money on this shock.

Phenomenal shock, well thought out for the “practical tacoma” set up being from 2-3″ to clear 31s. Highly recommended to pair with the front EMUs and 2886 springs. I have ran these with both blocks and AALs. Go with an AAL on 3rd gen springs for the best performance. Not sure what this other guy is talking about, he should probably pay a shop to do his suspension work for him before claiming a 1-Star rating on these. Check tacoma world, these are an awesome set up!
