Bilstein 5100 1.5-3″ Lift Assembled Coilovers for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Toyota Tundra

Part: BTU00C

Coilovers are assembled with ARB/OME Front Coils.

Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers feature a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting.  Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers provide increased wheel travel and improved handling. Utilizing a B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is the easiest way to level out your vehicle.

Need a full kit?

Coilovers are assembled on the bottom setting because the front coils already provide lift. Setting the shocks higher will damage the suspension and void the warranty.

3″ lift as described, fairly stiff ride but firm, would definitely go this route again. The install was fairly easy.

I ordered a 3 inch lift strip, I still had to use my 4-in blocks off my old struts. Theoretically I was thinking I would have to use one inch blocks on my new struts. Still confused why it’s called a 3 inch lift strip. After I put my 4-inch blocks back on the new struts it seems to be working fine.. not sure why they call it a 3 inch lift strut, it is the same length as the stock strut I took off it.!!!!!

I would have ordered the 2.5″ had I known how easy the job was going to be, but I’m happy with the product so far and would do business with suspensionlifts.com again!

To the 3 star comment…I only ordered 1.75″ and they looked identical to the stock parts I took off, but it’s obvious they aren’t since you have to raise the truck higher to put the wheels back on.

Got the 5100 with OME 2885 springs for the front and the 5100 for the rear of my 2005 tundra double cab 4×4. Stock leafs and no other lift mods. Measurement from center of wheel to the bottom of the fenders are 20.5in in the front and 21.5in in the rear. Maybe the next higher rated springs would have leveled the truck more. The ride is awesome though. Less body roll and not too stiff or soft. Easy install too.

Came in on lowest setting which so I had to compress the springs to adjust them. Easy to install and I got the extra height I needed for 35 x 11.5’s. Ride is excellent and much firmer than stock which I needed for my pop up camper in the bed. 2006 Tundra double cab.

What is the height of your front end? Did you go with the 3 inch setting? I’m barely rubbing with 295s on a junk country 2.5 lift (1.75 in lift spacer) I ordered the 1.5-3 Bilsteins and trying to decide what setting to put the struts on?

2884 / 5100 coilovers on the front of my 2001 Tundra Access Cab 4X4 TRD Limited aka 1.75″ lift.

Now sitting 22″ hub to fender on all four corners! Settled and level. Have the 2001 stock body colored fender “flares” (Not sure why the rear of my truck is 22″ on stock TRD bilsteins and leafs, maybe because of 4X4 TRD suspension. Seems taller than most. My 2WD AC is like 20″)

Install was super easy. Didn’t need to pry the LCA down at all to bolt up. Much easier than trying and failing to squeeze 0.5″ strut spacer on stock coilover I tried before. OEM UCA ball joint angles look safe at 22″

I don’t have good front lift reference from stock because there were oem 2WD springs and shocks on the front (19″ hub to fender FYI). Apparently 20.5″ is normal. So for me maybe ended up a 1.5″ lift because of the added weight of Limited trim sound system and power leather seats. Side by side the OME/bilstein showed like 0.5″ more spring length and just slightly longer overall length before install.

Overall super happy with this set up.

Super easy install. Installed on my 2002 Toyota Tundra Access Cab. Was a little sceptic at first when these Bilsteins were the same length as the stock struts but quickly realized the tightly coiled spring give the lift. Went with the 3″ (2887 springs) lift, installed both in 2 hours. Highly recommend.

I’m from Canada so the quote they gave me for shipping turned out to be wrong and I had to pay more but it was worth it. Everything came assembled and was quite easy to install even on my rusty truck!

Only suggestion I have is to maybe get a new lower mounting bolt if you know yours is a bit rusty. That’s the only thing I would do differently.

I ordered these on Monday, texted customer service to see if I could get them by the weekend. They got right back to me and said they talked to the shock assemblers and had them get em out the door that day. Received the shocks on Wednesday afternoon for no additional cost. Very satisfied with my purchase and at a great price. Couldn’t believe how quick I got them.

Just installed the 2885 coil overs on my 2001 Tundra Access Cab. These replaced a Downey off road kit that had been on the truck since 2007. The new shocks/springs perform very well and bring my ride height right where it was with the Downey kit which is about 2″ higher than stock. Ride is improved over the Downey kit – good spring rate and quick recovery to eat up anything in it’s way! Note that I also use my truck to tow a 20 foot travel trailer which is now much improved.

Great product at a fair price

Got the 1.75″ lift coil overs to replace SwayAway 2..5″s adjusted for 2″ lift on my 03 Tundra access cab. Handles and rides really nice on highway. Less stiff and better ride on rough logging roads. Maybe sits a little bit lower on lowest spring position but I’m good with it. Great quality, and price, quick delivery

Just as advertised. Showed up fast and was correct. Will buy again.

The product itself is great; however, the 3 bolts on the top mount were not even close to being in the correct position to align with the holes of the coil bucket (for both coilovers). As a result, I needed to compress the springs to be able to rotate the assembly so that the bolts aligned. The jaws on standard spring compressors were too thick to fit between the coils, so I had to buy a spring compressor with thinner jaws. If I knew this would be the case, I would have just bough the unassembled coilover kit from a different company, and just assembled it myself. I bought the assembled coilovers to help save time, but it did quite the opposite.
