- 10ga Steel– Great all-purpose protection, and the best value for the money. These make a great upgrade whether you already have the stock skid plates, or have nothing at all. Our 10 gauge skid plates are far tougher than OEM and provide significantly more coverage.
- 1/4” Aluminum– Excellent all around protection for daily drivers, stronger than factory skid plates, rust and corrosion resistant means they require no finish prior to installation, extremely lightweight yet just as strong.

Worked out great. I smashed the OEM one going through a ditch in the middle of a field and had to cut it off. This one is a lot stronger and you don’t have to take the whole thing off to get to your oil filer. Just remove the small access panel.

This is the second RCI skid plate we have purchased for our Tundra work trucks. The Toyota factory skid plates are small and flimsy. These skid plates can take a beating, cover more area, and don’t have to be removed when changing the oil. Plus, they cost the same as replacing the factory skid plate, which we’ve had to do often since they’re so easily bent and dented. Highly recommend.

Mine’s on the way and I can’t wait to do oil changing easier and never have to worry about the oil pan being dented from off road rocks that caught me in the dark but still luckily didn’t leak on my 300 mile trip home .

Once installed correctly I know that it’s very stable and clearly covers my oil tank and I wish the installation instructions would have been printed more clearly so I wouldn’t have to loosen bolts to make the final hardware to fit like it should . I have the five spacers that make it fit correctly with a lowering kit installed but I don’t need them . They could sell a kit for lowered Tundras and a different kit for standard height and save them money in extra parts .

She fits perfectly and having an open end wretch not the socket tightens the last two bolts while the other hand keeps the bolts pointing straight up and not tightening off angle with the two washers for it .
