    Hi everyone,
I’m from Siberia & we have very poor roads here. I installed it on Tundra 5.7 3 years ago. So, one was damaged under dust cover was destroyed by ice off road on our f*** road in March. My truck has a one 3000 km trip per month. Tree years of -40 and +30, deep snow & holy dirt, bumps & holes, 700 kg of cargo every time in my truck (with me & my 200 kg wife). I need to change it (not wife) after three years of heavy driving. Yes, it’s a great result for the shocks.
The problem of the shocks is dust cover. You need to check it sometimes, because dirt will do damage for shock without dust cover very fast. One week maybe.
Second problem is you can’t find dust covers separately of shocks.
I have firestone air suspension & Icon Leaf Spring Stage#? & EMO springs. That is my kit. All in good condition, no need to change.

Been running this kit for two years on my 2008 5.7 tundra double cab. Love it, I have them set on top notch runing 305/55/20s (33s) and use the truck off road a fair amount. I love them and could not be happier with the ride, performance and lift of this kit. Rear shocks helped the bed bounce a lot and mine sits almost level with no rear blocks and the 33s. Would buy them again for sure.

  3. Ben

Best lift ever! Installed 5100 front and rear on my 2014 Toyota Tundra 1794 crewmax. I went with the middle setting a 1inch rear block and the differential drop kit as well as new bushings and washers. Slapped a set of 285/65/20 BFG TKO2 on the stock wheels. Absolutely love the ride quality and the look. I highly recommend this set up

Easy install, instructions for the front shocks right in the box. Rear had no instructions but were common sense. Running great, have a smoother, more even ride than the stock Bilstein 4200’s I was running with a leveling kit. Nice pieces of equipment!

  5. Michael

These shocks are amazing on my 2011 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior. Set the fronts at highest setting. Toytec shackles with poly bushings in the rear with my 5100’s. Great ride. Also installed coach builder’s shims up front to make room for my 35″ tires. Also have front diff drop and carrier bearing drop kit. Truck looks and drives awesome. Shipping was reasonably fast from bilstein lifts. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to personalize their truck with great products at a great price.

Its only been two days since install, so far is just how I wanted it. I set the front on the highest 2.3 setting and added a ToyTec 1” block to the rear leaf. The plan was to have about a 1/2” rake higher in the rear. It’s looking so level I hardly notice a difference. The ride is firmer than the 4600’s from the TRD package. I reused the same coil over spring up front. I’m keeping the stock 18” TRD wheels w/o offset. BFG AT KO2 275/70R18.
Rubs the skid plate when parking at full turn. I need to cut/grind the plate very minimally. My Tundra is a 2016 SR5 4.6L 4X4 TRD Crewmax.
I did not use differential drop bolts.

  7. Jeremy

Installed on the middle setting of my 2012 TRD Rock Warrior 4×4. Looks and drives great! Easy install…only down side it that you will not get new bushings with this kit, you must buy seperatly or reinstall the old ones.

  8. Joe Herrmann

I installed the front shocks/struts and the ride was great for a while then after 120 miles the circlip on the shock slipped from the groove cut in the shock and the drivers side of my truck dropped to the ground at 70 mph. I have called and texted Bilsteinlifts.com several times but I have neve gotten a response, this is the 3rd day my truck has been down. I am going to have to find a replacement soon to get my truck back on the road.

  9. Bob Huffman

Ordered online without problems. The items were shipped right away and received within a couple days.

  10. Sam

Looks great, rides great, came with nothing to install with and washers didn’t even fit the struts.

  11. Hue Yang

Customer service sucks!!! Missing front shock seats and it’s been 2 weeks for a reply. Still no answer. Never would reccomend.!!!

  12. Lee Phillippi

Fast shipping, good prices, and big selection. Bilsteinlifts has always been a great place to buy. As far as the Bilstein 5100s they are a great shock that is much better than stock for the price you pay. If you are expecting them to be as good as a fox/king/icon brand 2.5 with resivors that is not these. But these are great shocks at a great price for the weekend warriors who do light to medium off-road.

  13. Joe Herrmann

It’s been almost a year with the shocks and I am very satisfied with the shocks and they perform extremely well. However I had to purchase an additional shock from a local auto parts store so I could get my truck back on the road due to a faulty shock and very poor customer service from bilsteinlifts.com which by the are NOT an AUTHORIZED DEALER of BILSTEIN so buyer beware.. Bilstein told me my shocks have no warranty because I did not purchase from an authorized dealer.
[site admin: We do provide warranty since we source these shocks from an authorized wholesale distributor and you are fully covered. We’ve sent return info & warranty info about 1 year ago, but we haven’t received any response or tracking that it did ship]

  14. William Stranahan

After dealing with another company, and being given the run around.. This was by far the smoothest transaction. The whole thing was start to finish was great!!

  15. Jake H

Arrived quickly. Products are top of the line. Major improvement over factory on my Tundra and four runner.

  16. Luke Carter

Great price, ride, and easy install.
