will this lift kit level the front and back

  2. Matt

The install of this kit is simple and the build quality is second to none. I opted only to raise the front of my truck 1.75in and the back 2in because I like the forward rake look, leveling a truck just makes them squat in the rear, not a good look. My 4Runner looks awesome and it rides really nice.

  3. Josh

I purchased the Bilstein 5100 shocks with the rear coil springs for my 2020 Toyota 4Runner Off Road Premium w/ KDSS. The kit got rid of the severe rake and gave my vehicle an overall more aggressive stance. It definitely rides better than stock and I am very happy with the value of this package.

Was looking how to lift my 4Runner to put 285’s on it and didn’t know how to go about it but this kit covered it all. Made it simple and easy! And on top of it all it was cheap. Even with the differential drop it was still cheaper than other companies selling just the shocks and springs.

  5. Derrick

Had not installed one of these before, installed on my 2018 4runner. Took me about 6 hours, I had a buddy around who helped with a couple odds and ends. Everything fit perfectly, the ride is actually much more composed. Now for some trail testing…

5100 just got on my 2020 4runner. It’s set to 1.75” front and 1” Bilstein Spring lift in the rear. This is the best bang for your buck lift kit! Lift spacers won’t give you the great ride Bilstein provide. I’ve checked other websites for the same kit, this the best priced kit on the market!

Definitely recommend this package. Major upgrade in ride quality and looks. My set up is 1.75 front 1.5 springs rear for reference. Easy to follow how to install videos on YouTube for anyone with the tools.

  8. Jon

Best bang for your buck kit. Had the front set to 1.75” and paired it up with the Bilstein 1” coil in the rear. Has a slight rake for whenever I have the rear loaded.

Rides better than stock and eliminates the nose dive at harsh braking. Feels very planted when taking corners.

    2016 trail edition with KDSS.

  9. K Ray

Installed this lift on my 2017 toyota 4runner trd off road.
Maxed out the front to the 2.5 setting with 2 inch rear coil springs.
    Actual amount of lift
    Front 2″
    Rear 1.5″
Handling on the hwy has greatly improved with the coilovers. Less body roll and nose dive when braking.
Install was fairly straightforward with plenty of videos on YouTube. Please don’t listen to anyone telling you to skip using a torque wrench. Over tight is just as bad as not tight enough.

275 70 r17 on factory wheels with no issues.
About 200lbs of gear in rear of vehicle in photo.

You have any more pics with no gear in the back?

  10. Scott

Waited patiently for B/O to complete and received my kit. Did the install about 2 mos later and couldn’t be happier with this upgrade.

  11. Art

I installed this kit myself on my 2012 4 Runner SR5 and although took longer than I thought it was well worth the savings. If you have any decent mechanical skills do it yourself. I love the ride and the look now. I was amazed on how fast shipping was.

  12. Mike E.

2021 TRD ORP w/KDSS. Went with the 2.5” setting up front with 2” coils in back and absolutely love the setup and drive. Sitting perfect on a set of 275/70R17 KO2’s after debating back and forth to go with 285’s. Zero rub and no BMC.

    • Nathan Conn

Did you need to go with aftermarket UCAs or did the stock ones work ok?

  13. Jim

Easy to install, lifted the front 3” and rear 2” to make it level and lifted perfect!

  14. Nathan Stephens

I installed this kit about a year ago, perfect for what I do which is some mild off roading/camping a few times a year. I went 1.75 up front with the 1” spring in the rear (which lifted it a little more than than an inch) for my trd off road. Has a good stance and rake. Love it! Wrapped my wheel with some nitto trail grappler m/t in 255/75/17 (32” tire), love it and when I air down, I can tackle just about anything I need it for.

  15. Aaron

I was looking to lift my 22 4runner without breaking the bank. This is a great kit that maintains a nice on road ride without compromising off road performance. This kit is great for what I needed a littlemore firm but not harsh. I did notice improved steering feel and less diving while braking. I used the 1.75 setting with 1 inch coils in the rear with the 5100s. Overall I gained 2 inches in front and 1inch in the rear. I always have extra weight so the rake works for me.

  16. Michael D

This upgrade was a game changer. I rode around on a 2″ spacer lift in the front and 1″ rear spacer for a year with a ton of rear sway and the suspension was super stiff. I purchase this kit w/ the 1″ rear coil lift and it feels like a new vehicle. Set the front to 1.75″ (3rd ring to top) and it completely removed the sway and handles much better. Photos attached for reference. The first looks like it was sitting on a bit of a downhill slant so I turned it around in the garage for reference.
    2014 SR5 Premium 4×4 with 265/65/18 tires.

  17. Andrew

It is a really good lift for the price. Admittedly, it is more of a mall crawler but the brake dive is better and much less body roll into the corners. I did 1.75 in the front and 1.5 springs in the rear. Spec alignment and stock UCAs.

  18. Jan dijkstra

ordered 5100 for 2011 front and back. order was to stay under 2 inches . they communicated to me by text msg.. gave me a link for a set front i was able to set at 1 3/4inches. rear shoxk was set and a set of rear springs was to raise it 1 1/2 inches. after mech installed set rear was 2 3/4 inches giher than front. job was payed for. now im stuck with truck not leveled unless i pay mech to raise front to level it out bringnig me above the less than 2 iches i wanted. my advice is dont order anything by text message request to speak to the bilstein lift expert.

I just installed this lift kit on my wife 2014 limited 4 runner. I am really happy with the way it sets now Good quality lift for the money. I was worried the BFG 285/70 R 17 were not going to clear without rubbing. But it all worked out fine & looks great . Did have to do some mineable amount of trimming to front finders to clear tires at full turn. But the suspension ride has definitely been improved. & it still drives & handles ass smooth ass before.

  20. Rolando

    Looks great

  21. Keven

Set up a 2018 TRD off-road premium. Super happy with the ride, lift and better performance over stock shocks.

  22. Clay Barnard

Looks great and feels much better than stock. Raised 1.75” in front and 1” in rear.

  23. Mike Morton

Kit was exactly as explained and shipping was fast. Put new shocks all around and rear springs on a 2019 4Runner. Easy install and 2″ lift looks outstanding.

  24. Tanner Vanpelt

2020 4runner limited AWD. Bilstein 2.5” adjustable with rear coils. The install was easy, took longer to remove the x-reas than to actually install the lift. Added 1” wheel spacers and 275-55-20 Nitto Recon Grapplers. Very impressed with how smooth this kit rides and overall appearance. Would definitely buy again!

  25. Arron Lee

Good product! Very fast shipping. I am pleased with my order and would highly recommend!

  26. dylanstapleton87

I purchased the bilstein 5100 with rear lift springs for my 2014 4 runner . Best prices around and very quick shipping. Highly recommend this company

  27. Megan

Great kit! Priced right, easy install. Got rid of the stock rake and improved both ride and braking (no more nose dive)!

  28. avilasxfive

Installed this lift on Wife’s 2016 limited 4Runner with help from my Son. pretty straight forward, Hardest parts were removing X-Reas system and getting 1st rear spring in, everything else went fine, 3 month in all good, X-reas had 110k on it and we felt it . much more sure footed on trails and terrible country roads. looks way better. Happy Wife… you know the rest HA HA

    • Jorge A Ciprian

What tire size do you have on your limited? I have e the same truck

  29. Noah

As described, shipped fast and works as it should. Our 4runner shocks had about 80k miles on them and they were toast. These make for less body roll and a firmer, better ride all around.

  30. SEAN HILLMAN

Everything showed up quickly and I’m good shape. Happy with the end result

  31. Garrett Beasley

Installed this kit on my 2011 4runner and it has been great so far. I did the 1.75” inch lift up front and the 1” inch lift spring in the rear. It rides smooth I also deleted the X-reas system at the same time and the truck handles better and the nose dive is gone. I put 275/55/20’s on the factory limited wheels for now will eventually go to 17’s.

  32. Garrett Beasley

Installed this kit on my 2011 4Runner I set the fronts at 1.75” inches and did the 1” inch lift spring in the rear. Deleted the X-reas system and it handles better and the nose dive is gone.
